Language Arts - None - We used our language arts time to review last night's math homework. Since this was our first assignment for math, we needed to review the expectations for homework and responsibility. We also worked on taking our Star Reading and Star Math benchmark testing. We will start switching teachers for language arts on Monday. Students were given their language arts teachers this afternoon.
Math - None - We took our 1st quarter assessment pretest today, and reviewed rounding. The students seemed to be catching on a lot faster this morning, and I was very proud of their progress in just one day!
Science - None - We finished reading about science tools today, and completed a picture/word match on the board when we were finished.
Social Studies - None - Mrs. Livengood had a surprise for us today during our social studies time. Be sure to ask your child how he or she was part of a winning team today!
