Language Arts - read passage - We completed our DOL, grammar, and spelling page in class today. We listened to our weekly story on the iPads, and worked in small groups to review phonics skills and our leveled readers.
Math - None - We discussed comparing fractions with the same denominator today.
Science - None - We read about the solar system today. We learned about the inner planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars), and watched a Scholastic Study Jams slide show.
Social Studies - None - We read about different types of resources today (renewable, non-renewable, human, and capital). We used a graphic organizer to take notes as we read, and we watched a Discovery Education video on how Louisville Slugger baseball bats are made.
