The Great Garbage Mystery

Since we are working on inference this week, the students used their detective skills to help me solve a mystery about my new neighbors.  I convinced them that I stole my new neighbors' garbage so I could learn more about them.  As I pulled items out of the trash, we wrote down our clues/evidence, and our inference.  For example, we inferred that they had a dog when we found an empty dog treat bag.
